Updates to many of the SPACE 1889 pages

Just a quick post to say that I have finally got around to updating the pages for the various factions. This means that I am going through my store of pictures and adding gathering them under each factions page. Some of these pictures were posted on my main blog this just brings them together on tis site.

I have not added every possible picture and if anyone wants to see more pictures of a given item please let me know and I will post up more pics.

Pages can be accessed from the column on the right, or from the section just under the banner (above)

Martian cavalry and colonial troops added to the collection

Martian imperial guard cavalry, opponents to the Earth invaders!

These are, I believe Fantasy Warriors elf or dark elf cavalry that I have painted up as Martians. They are oddly, to me at least, all left handed. I felt that I needed to add some variety to my Martian cavalry so sought these out, found them a bought them a few years back.

Also added this small submarine to be used by British naval forces for patrolling the Martian canals, and to launch covert raids both on the water, and on the land. The landing/boarding party are well protected with armour and carry close combat weapons and some rifles for added support. The submarine can also mount a machine gun on deck to add increase support fire.

The submarine came from Minfigs by way of Caliver Books. HERE is the link to the catalog page. Please note after I ordered this the page updated to say out of stock, and I also got a strange email from the company indicating problems of some sort with the casting. Mine had only minor imperfections. You might want to contact Caliver directly to see if they have an update on this model.

Update: It looks like they have pulled every resin item from production.
