Very primitive in every respect. Yes, newly carved coastline, but apparently quickly flocked, no foliage etc. The ships look to have received only a base colour, and oh my that green on the Prussian forces!
Best thing about having these old pictures, is the realization that I have become a much better painter. Still plenty of room to grow, but a lot better than this. The odd thing though is the realization that, at the time, I thought they were okay.
